All the power in the world is nearly useless if your stock brakes aren’t up to par. Our new Stage 2 ‘EVO’ Monoblock Performance brake upgrade is an ultra-durable braking solution developed exclusively for fast street and occasional track-only VW Golf cars.

We’ve developed these brakes for street use using our decades of motorsport experience, and as you’d expect, they deliver exceptional stopping power time and time again. But all at an affordable price.

Our lightweight, one-piece monoblock construction is typically reserved for the highest-spec motorsport kits, being much stiffer and lighter than the original calipers.

The kit weighs nearly half the original, for a significant saving in unsprung mass. The caliper, pads, and bracket assembly weigh 4.4 kg (9.7 lb) compared to the 8.6 kg (18.9 lb) of the factory Golf 7R kit.

A larger, 345 mm x 30 mm, triple-groove, one-piece disc (rotor) offers greater thermal capacity, thus reducing the fading effect.

The larger pad size is now exactly the same as the pad used by a Ferrari F40! And now, because it’s a generic pad size, you can choose any brand and specification when it comes to pad replacement.

Our extensive piston size development program provides a wonderfully progressive pedal feel—and that’s because (unlike many) we develop brakes exclusively for VWG vehicles.

MONOBLOCK

The ‘Monoblock’ construction of our 4-piston aluminium thin-profile calipers give extreme stiffness and light weight, and aid in wheel clearance packaging (min 17″ wheel)..

GROOVED AND VENTED

The 345mm x 30mm discs, with integral mounting bells, use our ‘Triple Groove’ design across the face for improved bite and debris clearance.

DISC QUALITY

A one-piece disc (rotor) made from high cast carbon – a mixture of high quality steel combined with carbon; giving a far higher friction coefficient compared to normal steel rotors.

VWG –  SPECIFIC

Engineered exclusively for VWG cars, with piston sizes matched to master cylinders and servos for perfect responses and a beautiful pedal feel.

SPORT PADS

Composite Ceramic Sport Pads are included with the Stage 2 ‘EVO’ kit with the ideal compound for fast-road use. The kit uses generic pad dimensions, meaning you can choose your ideal pad/brand.

FULL INSTALL KIT

Everything you need for installation: discs, calipers, mounting brackets, fast road pads, and braided steel lines. Plus the option of hub adapters for increased wheel clearance. Bolt on and ride!
