One of our most popular upgrades, the RacingLine VWR Cold-Air Intake System, is designed to deliver cool, dense air from outside the engine bay straight into the fuel metering unit of the latest Polo 6C GTI 1.8 TSI and Ibiza Cupra 1.8 TSI models.
This ensures dramatically improved airflow efficiency compared to the restrictive factory intake.

At the heart of the system is our giant high-flow filter, hand-built in the UK, using what we consider to be the very best filtration materials available. This is the key to the genuine power gains delivered by the intake.
For this version (VWR12P1GTC), the kit comes with the pleated cotton high-flow filter, offering exceptional filtration and long service life.

Race-Developed Performance

Originally developed for use on our Volkswagen motorsport programs, this intake delivers up to 9% more airflow at peak power compared with the OEM system.
By improving system efficiency, turbo spool can be reduced by up to 500rpm, providing lightning-fast turbo response. In our experience, no other intake kit for these engines delivers greater gains.

 Filter Options

You can choose between:

• Trifoam® triple-layer cone filter, or

• Pleated Cotton high-flow filter (this kit)

Both are hand-made in the UK and provide outstanding airflow with minimal restriction.
