We are delighted to unveil our bespoke Plenum, specifically designed for the Porsche 911 (996) Turbos. This high-flow Plenum is designed to enhance the performance of your 996 Turbo remarkably!

The OEM 996 Turbo plenum, with its T-shape, causes the air flow from the throttle body to abruptly change direction when divided to each side of the intake manifolds. Hence, it’s logical to consider a Y-shape design to overcome this limitation. The OEM 996 throttle body, with a 68mm internal diameter, has shown to be a bottleneck when operating at power levels above 700hp. Consequently, our performance plenum is designed to work in tandem with the 997.1 throttle body, which at 74mm is much better suited for higher power levels. Please note that the 997.1 throttle body is not included in this kit and must be purchased separately (OEM part number 99760511500). After installing this part, you will need to recalibrate the engine management software for optimal functionality.

Throughout the development of this plenum, considerable time was dedicated to flow simulations of the internal Y-shape design. We conducted both CAD system flow simulations and real-world tests on 3D-printed models using our SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench.

The do88 performance plenum is delivered as a comprehensive kit with all necessary parts for installation (note: the 997.1 throttle body is not included).
